Mangata Dangles in Gold Vermeil

Mangata: the reflection of the moon over water. 

These double-hooped earrings are lightly hammered for a reflection like the moon over water. A freshwater pearl hangs from the bottom, and a tiny pearl wrapped to the post. Hoops measure .6".

Quality matters: These earrings are 18k gold vermeil. The base is quality sterling silver, and then it is plated with 2.5 microns thick 24 karat gold, with 18 karat gold plated over for a softer color.
