A Charm-ing Custom Order

Posted by Kristy Highness on

Bec wanted to order something special for a friend, with her custom words. She's seen our hand stamped jewelry, and knew she could put anything on it. Originally, she thought our guitar pick necklace, but we came up with an even better idea to fit the text. I gave Bec some shape options and combinations, and she said she likes circles best.

So, I punched the discs and hand stamped her text letter by letter:

  • charm 1: Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly
  • charm 2: Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably
  • charm 3: and never regret anything that made you smile.

Then I drilled holes and curved the discs slightly for a nice finish, oxidized the charms for the letters to pop black, and brushed them with a fine steel wool. We added a couple beads between the charms to dangle.

And then the question of length and chain! Bec chose a 26" length for a longer fit. This necklace works great for layering!

And that, folks, is how you create a custom order! Then you just wait for the reaction when it's opened, a custom and special gift for someone as unique as the jewelry they wear.
